The Wildlife Conservation research center is currently involved in  a variety of research projects being conducted by graduate students, Undergraduate students and faculty. These research projects include:

Greater Scaup: Effects of Environmental Contaminants on health; diet and contaminants; winter habitat requirements; population dynamics.

Wildlife resources and management in urbanizing habitats.

Woodcock: Habitat management; factors limiting populations.

White Tailed Deer: Management in urbanizing regions; social behavior and population density.

American Kestrel: Ecology, habitat requirements and population limitations.

Results of studies are made available to the public through scientific journals, presentations and posters for professional audiences, university programs, and conservation organizations.Recent presentations have been made at the Second North American Duck Symposium in Saskatchewan and the Northeast Fish and Wildlife Conference in New York.Currently we are involved in projects inGreenwich CTSouth Windsor CTSelawik Alaska
