Summer horseback riding lessons

The University of Connecticut at Storrs is offering summer horseback riding lessons in dressage, hunt seat, western and polo. Lessons are open to the general public: children 11 or older and adults. Beginner to advanced levels will be offered. There will be four three-week sessions during the summer. The first session starts May 16. Prices are from $210 to $315 per session. UConn will also offer trail riding. Session I is May 3, 5, 10, 12, 24 & 26. Session II is June 20 & 22, July 5, 7, 19 & 21; Session III is August 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, & 25. Participants must be 13 or older and must ride at intermediate level or better. Riders may choose hunt seat or western style.  Ride the UConn trail system and learn trail riding best practices, including how to follow markings.
