The University of Connecticut 4-H Youth Development Program is committed to offering volunteer training in a direct and convenient way, to enable both prospective and current 4-H volunteers to participate in essential trainings. Registered 4-H volunteers in Connecticut are required to complete this training.

This training includes four interactive, self-paced training modules, complete with review. The course covers topics such as About 4-H, Positive Youth Development, Getting Started in 4-H, and Leadership and Teaching. It is intended for potential 4-H volunteers, new, current and re-entering 4-H volunteers, and others who want to learn more about 4-H.
