Science Research Farm From I-84: Take exit 68 (Route 195), head south on Rte. 195, towards the UConn campus (this is a right turn if coming Hartford and a left if coming from Massachusetts.) Travel 8.8 miles on Rte. 195, pass through the UConn campus, then turning left onto Agronomy Road, the farm is at the end of the road. Landmarks: Second left after Liberty Bank. From Route 44: Travel to Rte. 195, towards the UConn campus, (this is a right turn if coming from Hartford and left if coming from Putnam). From the junction of Rte. 195 and Rte 44, travel 3.0 miles on Rte 195, pass through the UConn campus, then turn left onto Agronomy Road. The farm is at the end of the road. From Willimantic and points east: At the intersection of Rte. 195 and Rte. 6, travel 5.3 miles north on Rte. 195 and turn right onto Agronomy Road. The farm is at the end of road. 4-H Education Center at Auer Farm 158 Auer Farm Road, (off Route 185), Bloomfield, CT I-91 Northbound: Take exit 35 (Bloomfield/Route 218 West.) Follow Route 218 through Bloomfield (about 5 miles.) After you curve left past CIGNA, turn right onto Route 185 West. The farm is 1 mile up on the left. Follow signs to parking. I-91 Southbound: Take exit 35 (Bloomfield/Route 218.) Follow Route 218 West through Bloomfield (about 5 miles.) After you curve left past CIGNA, turn right onto Route 185 West. The farm is 1 mile up on the left. Follow signs to parking. I-84 Eastbound: Take exit 41 (South Main Street, North.) Follow South Main Street into West Hartford Center and continue north until it changes to North Main Street, (Route 218). At the intersection with Simsbury Road (Route 185) turn left. The farm is 1 mile up on the left hand side. Follow signs to parking. I-84 Westbound: (East of the River) Take Route 291. At the end of 291, take the Bloomfield/Route 218 exit. Take a left onto Route 218 and follow through to the intersection with 185. Turn right onto route 185 West. The farm is 1 mile up on the left. Follow signs to parking. Home

Take I-84 east/west to Exit 68, turn south onto State Highway 195 (cross routes 32 and 44) to the campus. After entering campus, continue to bottom of hill and turn left just before the traffic light. Continue to your first left. The Home and Garden Center is on the right to the back of the Ratcliffe Hicks Arena.
